Intermediate Course in English, Public Speaking and Group Discussion

As a part of this course, students learn

- Advanced conversational practice is done through role-play and
situational dialogues.
- Students periodically listen to taped dialogues, answer questions on
them and hold discussions on the same or similar topics.
- Compositions include writing essays, letters, reports, etc.
- Instructions on Public Speaking or How to Make Effective Presentations are based on the internationally-acclaimed Dale Carnegie Public Speaking Course and are given through lectures, videos as well as individual feedback.
- Students make 13-14 speeches and group discussions in the class.
- At the end of the course, everybody has to make a speech in front
of a large audience.
- Specialized training in Reading Comprehension and Speed Reading is offered to prepare students for competitive examinations and to develop their general reading proficiency.
