The Constitution of India mandates under the DPSP that provision of justice to all its Citizens is primary duty of the State. In order to offer quality education in the field of law, the university has started this course and provided mute court facilities as per the prescribed standards of the Bar Council of India. The course ensures the standards of the legal education. It ensures improvement in the quality of legal services and requirements of research as well as the Developments in the domain.
The Law is an improtant component of the State. The state not only enacts the laws but it has to implement it. The profession of law is one of the oldest and noblest profession the world. The requirement of professionals of law is indispensable to the society as they up hold the rights and privileges of individuals. The Law department of the University was started from academic year 2007-2008.
This year (i.e., in 2010) first batch of students have passed out the course. There are three permanent faculty members in the law department, all the faculty memebrs are completed their doctorate degrees in Law and having vast experience in teaching. The L.L.B. course of our University is recognized by the Bar Council of India, a statutory body which controls the legal education in our country. For the final year students as per the guidelines of the Bar Council we have conducted the Moot courts and practical training classes for the stduents.
