Labour law is a dictat to control the relationship between the employers and employees. The history of labour struggle is significantly a demand for fair returns to labour expressed in forms like increase in wages, resistance to decrease in wages, demand for numerous allowances, etc. The study of labour laws is therefore necessary to understand the wider implications of labour welfare and social justice. This course provides an insight to the various laws prevalent in the industry.
