M.D.S. Conservative

The Panineeya Mahavidyalaya Institute of Dental Sciences & Research Centre offers M.D.S. Conservative course to its students.

Conservative Dentistry is that branch of dentistry that deals with prevention and treatment of diseases and injuries of hard tissues. Endodontics deals with treatment of diseases of pulp of tooth and associated periapical lesions.

The course gives training to undergraduates in the pre-clinical and clinical programs. Students are trained for the first 2 years on phantomheads while during the next 3 years they have advantage of working on patients under expert and personal supervision of qualified professors.

There is also a lab for casting facilities for the students. Special care is given to proper cleaning and sterilization of instruments
