M. D. in Pathology

The college offer number of courses, one of the course is M. D. in Pathology. Pathology is a basic medical science taught to M.B.B.S. students in second year in three terms. The department has all basic facilities as per MCI, required for the undergraduate teaching. In addition, the dept. also provides coaching to the D.M.L.T. students. The department is planning to start P.G. Degree course from this Academic year.

The department has a separate lecture hall furnished with Audio-visual facility and can accommodate 150 students. Besides this, there is a Practical hall with all facilities, Museum cum Seminar room and departmental library.The department also caters investigative services to the patients. It has separate well-equipped laboratory section in central clinical laboratory where all routine investigations (haematological) are carried out.
The department also has a separate well equipped and well furnished Histopathology laboratory and cytology laboratory for specialized investigations.The dept. also has well equipped and well organized blood bank as per FDA guidelines.
