Course programme
The course of Processing and Food Engineering is one of the chief constituents of College of Technology and Engineering, Udaipur. It is at present involved in teaching of under graduate, postgraduate and Ph D students. The department was started in 1972. Till date the department has gone through various research projects for enhancing & upgrading its resources viz. infrastructure, facilities, research & teaching aids etc. Department offers many courses in under graduate programme of BE (Agri.), post graduate degree program for Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Dairy Technology graduates and Ph D programme in Processing and Food Engineering.
OBJECTIVES
• To provide a strong base of agricultural processing and food engineering in the undergraduate programme leading to B.E.(Ag.)Degree.
• To offer post graduate programme in agricultural processing and food engineering leading to ME (Ag.) degree.
• To offer courses in agricultural processing and food engineering leading to Ph.D degree in agricultural processing and food engineering.
• To conduct research in agricultural processing and food engineering leading to process, control, product and equipment development.
