M.E. :Thermal Engineering

Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE) is a unit of Sri Venkateswara Educational and Health Trust (SVEHT). The Trust was founded on August 1, 1984 at the behest and with the blessings of His Holiness Pujyashri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetadhipathi Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal. In November 1984 the then State Government granted permission to conduct courses in Engineering leading to Bachelors Degree in Engineering in the disciplines of Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communicaiton Engineering and Civil Engineering, awarded by University of Madras.

The course of Mechanical Engineering is one of the three major departments established right from the beginning of the College. The department has well experienced faculty and staff members of proven ability and administrative skills. It has well equipped state-of-the-art laboratories that cater to the needs of the students. The department also takes up industrial consultancy works.
