The Jadavpur University offers a number of courses. One of the courses is M.E. (Water Resources & Hydraulic Engineering)

This Course is offered by the School of Water Resource

The School of Oceanographic Studies, Jadavpur University was set up in 1988 by the University Grants Commission with the objective of manpower training and multidisciplinary research on ocean sciences and technology. The efforts of the School were further supported by the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research and the Department of Ocean Development in 1991, creating a centre for "Coastal Ocean Design and Prediction System" (CODAPS). This was in recognition of the multidisciplinary expertise available at the University from the staff of various departments.
