M.A. History

The course will cover the following subjects:

Historiography,
Ancient Civilisation,
History of Science and Technology,
History of China and Japan,
History of Orissa, Contemporary World,
History of Freedom Movement in India and Socio-economic History of India. The Department offers special papers in History of Ancient India, History of Medieval India, History of Modern India and Archival Studies.

The teachers of the Department have earned International fame by visiting foreign countries as Visiting Fellow/Professor and participating in International Seminars and Conferences at regular intervals.
