M.A. in International Studies

M.A. in International Studies The programme is based on understanding of :

(i)An exposure to multiple perspectives within which international relations can be studied in the emerg ing global order.
(ii) An engagement with the contentious issues of international politics from global warming to nuclear proliferation.
(iii) An analysis of the institutions and organisations which regulate international affairs from WTO to UN and other regional organisation.
(iv) An introduction to the cultural issues that have emerged including issues related to the Indian diaspora.

These different aspects of the global order would be taught using the resources of Goa University and associate institutions.
Admission to the course is based on marks obtained in BA exam as well as on entrance or change of faculty test conducted by the Centre.
