M.A. Music(Vocal)

Department of Music and Dance started in the year 1975 initially only with post-graduate courses. Dr. N.V. Patwardhan was the first chairperson. Thereafter, Prof V.K. Aggarwal was in the chairin 1982. He initiated M.Phil and P.h.D. couses. The Department has
special emphasis on research alongwith teaching of Indian classical music, both vocal and instrumental.
