M.P.Ed.

Syllabus-: This programme has three parts in it's curriculum.

1- Theory:- In theory, six papers are being taught:-

i) Principles and History of Physical Education.

ii) Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology.

iii) Sports Psychology, Administration and Supervision.

iv) Sports Training, Officiating and Coaching.

v) Sports Management and Educational Methodology.

vi Yoga & Health Education.

2-) Practical:-

i) Athletics.

ii) Gymnastics & Yoga.

iii) Major Games: Cricket, Football, Hockey, BasketBall ,Kabaddi, Kho- Kho, Badminton, Volleyball and Handball .

3.) Teaching practice and Project work:- General & Special lesson plan practice (Related to games) and preparation of a project Other than above mentioned parts, lots of co-curricular activities like Picnic, Camping, Workshops, Intramural programme, Trekking and academic tour are the prominent features of B.P.Ed. programme and to be scheduled in coming months.
