M.pharm in Pharmaceutics

This is a two years post graduate degree course introduced by this college from the academic year 2004-05. B.Pharm., degree from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate of marks is the qualification for getting admission to M.Pharm. Admissions will be made as per the rules and regulations prescribed by the Government of Tamilnadu.

The course of pharmaceutics is highly concentrating on the noval drug delivery system, micro encapsulation, nanoparticles, liposomes, transdermal drug delivery systems and sustains release dosage forms. This department encompasses an understanding of the basic physical chemistry necessary for the efficiency of dosage forms. Here the students are given training to manufacture these medicines. Industrial training is given along with curriculam. Hospital Ward and Pharmacy training is also given .
