M.Phil : Fashion Designing & Technology

The Master of Philosophy (M. Phil.) programme will provide an opportunity to the students to undertake advanced studies in the subject in which he or she has already acquired post graduation. This would also act as a pre Ph.D. course leading to the Ph.D. programme in the same subject.

Today's world is becoming smaller with the advancement of Information Technology and the major roles being played in it is by two factors first the English Language and second the Media. The demand for expertise in these two faculties is on the rise and will go on increasing. The programmes of this school aim at producing new media gems who exercise good command over English language and have better understanding of the local, regional, national and international happenings.

With the advent of modernization in clothing and fabrics, fashion designing has become a modern and much sought after subject. It is evergreen because fashion is continuously evolving and changing. This course would prepare the students for designing and marketing fabrics in changing scenario.
