The motto, Power through Knowledge, which is an integral part of the Logo of the College well expresses its aspirations and the Vision of the Founding Fathers, Vidyasagar Principal K M Kundnani and Barrister Hotchand Advani, and crystallises, in a capsule form.
Located in the sprawling, environmentally lush Smt CHM Campus, opposite Ulhasnagar Railway Station on the Central line, about 60 kms from the metro city of Mumbai, it caters to the higher education requirements of the Sindhi minority community which relocated itself courageously at Ulhasnagar in the aftermath of the partition trauma. At the same time it ensures that it provides quality education to all sections of society.

The educational hub with 27 undergraduate departments in the conventional and professional courses, 08 postgraduate and 07 research departments, about 12,500 students, more than 400 teaching and non teaching staff members, is marked by admirable infrastructure and has emerged as one of the largest Colleges of the University of Mumbai, with a focus on academics, sports, research, cultural activities, community outreach and innovations in the educational sector.
