Master's Degree Course in Information Sciences, which is of 2 year duration,was started in the PG section of the college during the acadamic year 2001-02 with an intake of 40 candidates.

Montessori has a distinctive identity in the state of Andhra Pradesh as an Institution which offers Computer Education to girl students.The department is imparting various skills to the students by providing continuous guidance and identifying focus areas.

The department conducts extension lectures and guest lectures frequently by eminent personalities in the field of Computer Science. The topics covered would be latest in nature not otherwise covered in curriculum, which helps the students to meet the stiff competition in the field of Computer Science.
