M.Sc. Physics

The Department of Physics & Electronics was established in 1985. Department offers M. Sc. Physics with specialization in Electronics and M.Sc. Electronics which is having unique aspects in the sense that the students are trained as per the requirement of R&D organization Hardware and Software. The department has well equipped laboratories of integrated circuits and communication, computer programming, microwave, digital electronics and microprocessor, electronics devices and circuits simulation etc. the major experimental research facilities in the department include electron beam coating unit, spray pyrolysis coating unit, air compressor, PID controller, Furnaces, optical multi channel analyzer, Keithley Nan volt meter and current source. The major funding agencies are UGC, AICTE and UPCST.

M. Sc. in computer sciences (MCS) shall be launched in the department in view of the motto of the university to disseminate job oriented knowledge amongst the students. This will enable the students to complete to a greater extent in the sphere of the computer industry and information technology.
