M. Tech. in Civil: Water Management

This two-year program aims to hone perfect technocrats and technological leaders. The course structure is designed to enhance the analytical and computational abilities of students, with due emphasis on innovative research/project work.. Advance concepts like GIS, MIS, remote sensing and participatory irrigation management are special features of this course.
This program aims to mould the students into excellent engineering professionals by exposing them to different aspects of civil Engineering (hydraulics, environmental engineering, structures, water resources engineering and soil engineering) with water management at its core. Complementing these inputs are interdisciplinary subjects like computer programming, optimization techniques, numerical methods and remote sensing. Students will be prepared with knowledge and skills for global market. The course is well recognized for the high quality of teaching and research activities.
