M.TECH: SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

The department of computer science and engineering has 25 teaching and 7 supporting staff, well experienced in academics. The department offers B.Tech courses in CSE and M.Tech courses in S/w Engineering. The department is having the following well equipped laboratories for the UG programme:
1) Basic Programming Lab
2) System Programming Lab
3) Application Programming Lab

About the Course:

The department of CSE has started a two year M.Tech programme in "Software Engineering" from the academic year 2005-2006, with an annual intake of 18 students. The dept. has an exclusive lab for the programme equipped with 20 P-IV systems.Softwares like Windows XP, Red Hat Linux 8.0, Fedora, Flash, Macromedia, Dreamweaver, Oracle, and Visual Studio.NET. The lab also provides internet facility with 2Mbps leased line from BSNL.The syllabus is designed to cater to the contemporary requirements of the industry by handling courses like Web Technologies ,Wireless Networks & Mobile Computing, Object oriented Modeling, Data Warehousing & Mining, Middle Ware Technologies among others. The programme is conducted in the PG building of the college with the required class rooms, labs seminar halls & E-class rooms.
