M.Tech (Soil and Water Conservation Engineering)

This specialization covers study on Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Principles of Pumps, Hydrology, Ground water and wells, Soil Erosion and its Control, Watershed Management and Drip and Sprinkler Irrigation Systems.Employment of such engineers is expected to increase at very high rate. Job opportunities also result from the increasing demand for agricultural products, the continued efforts for more efficient agricultural production and the increasing emphasis on the conservation of resources.
