M.Tech (Thermal Energy and Environmental Engineering)

Thermal Engineers design, operate and manage facilities and system for environmental protection. They also measure air and water quality and seek ways to improve them. A Thermal Engineer may specialize in various tasks of the industry. The iterative problem-solving process of system engineering may be applied to understand the basic functioning of a thermal system, but where it is really needed is in the design of thermal systems, the most complex of thermal engineering projects. The professional field of the thermal energy and environmental engineering covers all activities connected with preventive environmental protection or clearing up environmental damage. Basic tasks include production-integrated environmental protection, recycling as well as analysis of the creation and spread of toxic substances in air, water and in the soil.
