MA History

An MA has five question papers in each semester carrying 100 marks each. In the fourth semester, a student may be required to write and submit a dissertation on a topic to be approved. The dissertation, wherever required, shall be treated as one of the papers in the fourth semester and shall carry maximum of 100 marks, out of which 40 marks shall be earmarked for the viva-voce test thereon. The students are expected to attend all the classes and should not have less than 75 % attendance in theory as well as in practical classes, wherever held.
