Description
Maratha Mandal is a philonthropic society established in 1931 in Belgaum.
The Library has a good collection of books and national as well as international Journals. Separate stack room and residing room have been provided. Reading room accommodates about 80 students at present. The Library has a separate Issue section, a reference section, Reading Room and a Digital Library equipped with 5 latest PCs with Internet. This digital Library facilitates e-journals subscribed from J-GATE, Bangalore. A separate Library Building has been planned to provide a reading room to accommodate 100 students and separate staff cubicles and a separate Journals and Periodic section. A reference section and a Newspaper and Magazines sections, which are all planned to be beautifully furnished. The Library is managed by a well-qualified librarian and experienced support staff. Library operations are shortly going to be computerized for the convenience of all users.
