The Department of Business Management established in 1991 takes pride in its ability to adapt to the ever-changing business environment. The Department has earned a reputation for producing managers, groomed to take up the challenges of the dynamic world of business.
The curriculum designed by Osmania University is at par with that of première B-Schools in India, providing a good blend of theory and practice. The students are offered dual specialization in various functional disciplines.

In the Business world (3rd October 2005 issue) Survey of India B-Schools, A.V.P.G. Centre MBA programme has been ranked in the top 10 B-Schools in Andhra Pradesh and 89th amongh the top 100 in India.
The Department Conducted two day National Seminar on “Paradigm shifts in Financial Markets and Marketing Concepts on 17th & 18th Nov. 2005.
