The Gujarat University offers Master of Labour welfare to its students. The course structure for it is as follows:

2) Personnel Management & Industrial Relations

3) Labour Welfare

4) Labour Movement

5) Industrial Organization & Finance

6) Labour Economics

7) Social & Industrial Psychology

8) Compulsory Fieldwork Having 100 Marks evaluation

The course has very high potential for job placements in the positions of personnel officers HRD executives, welfare officers and Industrial Relations Executives for its students. The department facilitates placements by holding campus interviews as per the needs of industries. The Department has secured placements for 70% – 80 % of it students during last 5 years.
