Course programme
This is a two year programme of regular study. Under the newly approved UGC syllabus which is spread over four semesters, a candidate has to study two subjects which are compulsory in every semester i.e. from 1st to IIIrd and one additional paper to be selected from the specialization group offered by the candidate in each of these semesters. In the IVth semester, the candidate is required to write a dissertation which is of 200 marks including a viva-voce of 50 marks. The courses designed cover Theory Paper of 60 marks each plus 40 marks in each course assigned for home assignment and seminar paper presentations. As per the new LL.M. syllabus which has come into force from July 2003, the following courses are offered:
