Master of Library and Information Science

The program is provided to graduate candidates to get proficiency in library and information science. In the program, librarianship and recently upcoming connected areas are incorporated to prevent libraries from becoming outdated and other fields from being undaunted about problems of access, solitude and service. They have also to learn system designs and information recovery.

1st Semester

Universal Knowledge & Research Methodology
Establishment of Information Science
Information Retrieval Method (Theory)
Information Retrieval Method (Practical)

2nd Semester

Information System & Service
Information Source & Product
Management of Library & Information Centers
Application of I.T. in Library & Information Centers Dissertation of Project Report or Viva Voice

Candidates who have completed their B. LIB or BLISc can get into this program.
