The Institute has an enabling infrastructure spread over a spacious and salubrious campus of over 10.5 acres of land with built-up area 7224 sqm. The College having an instructional area of about 50,000sq.ft and administrative area of about 10,000sq.ft. Apart from class room, seminar hall the college having well equipped and ultramodern laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Basic Electrical, Basic Electronics and Mechanical Workshop. Greater Kolkata College of Engineering & Management has an enrollment of 429 students pursuing various courses offered (304 male & 125 female).

The mission of the institute is to set up a quality Engineering & Management institute to provide education to the aspiring students who with support & guidance from highly qualified and experienced professors of the institute will be groomed into competent engineers and managers. Such well groomed engineer and managers coming out from the GKCEM will serve and contribute in their respective field of excellence and play their roles in industrial, commercial and academic growth of the nation, thus leading the nation to a path of industrial growth and prosperity. We have faculty comprising 36 teaching staff including Professors, Asst. Professors, Sr. Lecturers and Lecturers. The campus have 15 class rooms, one seminar hall, 15 technical labs and a computer lab with 120 computers.

The Institute having fully automated library with separate reading room having more than 7000 books and 40 National and International Journals. Library has LIBSYS software and Barcode system implemented. The institute having Computer Centre, separate hostel facility for boys & girls, medical centre and other facilities like ATM, transportation etc.
