MBA: International Business

The MBA - IB programme is a two-year full time residential post graduate degree programme. This is an intensive course which is designed specifically to help students achieve a rewarding career in management in India and abroad.

Students from such varied academic backgrounds as Engineering, Electronics, Computers, Physics, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Economics and Commerce contribute to making this course very lively and extremely interactive. Students are exposed to a comprehensive blend of theory and practices in business, both domestic and international, which makes this course unique.

The first year of the course serves to create a base of understanding Business Management through various programmes which are designed to take into account the varied backgrounds of our students. It serves the purpose of brining all the students on a level plane before their specializations begin. The core courses in International Business are spread over a period of two years and they aim to create a strong foundation which is enhanced by specializations in the functional areas of Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Management and HR from the second semester. The semester pattern followed by the institute ensures there is an in-depth coverage, understanding and assessment of every subject. Each and every core subject is covered for at least a minimum of 30 hours by the institute through class room inputs and every elective is also covered for the same amount of time. 60% of the evaluation for every subject is done continually on the basis of the course work which creates a rigorous but rewarding schedule.
