The Department of Computer Applications was established in the year 2008 dated: 23.08.2008. The Department offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - 3 Years (Full Time) Post-Graduate Programmer. It is one of the pioneering departments in the college. This Department comprises of experienced faculty members and is actively involved in research and in carrying out projects besides teaching. It is committed to impart quality education in the fields of IT, a field growing in leaps and bounds. The curriculum is so made that the course provides a good theoretical foundation through high quality teaching complemented by extensive practical training.

Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A) imparts knowledge on fundamental concepts of Computer Science, Information Technology and their various applications. The program emphasizes on extensive programming and software development experience over a wide variety of platforms and applications. M.C.A is a six-semester program under credit based continuous assessment pattern. The MCA program is open to the students of computer / non-computer background. The curriculum and syllabi of MCA is designed in such a way that it starts from the basics of computers and covers all the major areas of computer science.
