Pt J.N.M. Medical College Raipur came in to existence on 9th September 1963 when the college was started with 60 students in a small OPD block of Ayurvedic College. The college

*Course of Anaesthesiology & Critical Care has been running Pain Clinic since Aug 76, D.A.courses since 1980 , M.D. courses since 1983 ,paramedical courses since 2004 & CCU since June 2002.

Presently, deptment is headed by Prof & HOD Dr. K.P. Dubey with 2 Associate Prof ., 5 Assistant Prof & 2 Registrar.

Preanaesthetic clinic (PAC) is held between 8AM - 2PM

Department consists of administrative block( seminar hall, museum, individual consultant chamber, office) , Major OT complex, 4 bedded preoperative room, 6 bedded recovery room & 6 bedded CCU (Equipped with Ventilator, multipara, defibrillator & ABG Analyzer), 1PAC room, pain clinic.

Teaching & training of undergraduates, postgraduates, paramedical, phsysiotherapy & RCH procedures.
