Mobility Training

Based on our experience with students we have identified the need for training inputs in three core areas. The centre conducts both short term (vacation) as well as long term (ongoing) training in these areas.

Mobility Training:-

Every year new students join us either in the First Year Junior College (F.Y.J.C.) or the First Year of Senior College (F.Y.B.A.). Many of them, especially those from integrated schools, lack an important skill required by any visually challenged person for independent living, that of mobility. The centre with help of qualified mobility instructors conducts mobility training. The follow up of this is done by the centre's staff who have been trained in basic mobility.
