MS :Ophthalmology

The course of Ophthalmology holds various eye camps in different areas with the help of voluntary organizations. In the eye camps, screening OPD's are held and patients are treated at their door-steps. Patients requiring surgeries are brought to the Medical College. The department also holds school surveys (Health Clinics) for early detection of visual defects in school children.

It has been organizing various symposia, seminars and guest lectures under CME's programme, thus enabling the ophthalmologists not only of various medical colleges but also to the practitioners in updating their knowledge and skills.
