Outreach Program

PIMS has a clear view on what its role as as a socially responsible institution entails :

"in the geographic area of its operations, it shall actively seek to sensitize people to health issues,spread awareness among the less educated, undertake campaigns to dispense free advice and treatment etc., PIMS' vision, in other words, is to help build a healthier, more humane society..."

Since inception, PIMS has chalked out an ambitious agenda of outreach Programs and purposefully sought to pursue them. Each Program has been developed after a very thorough study of the healthcare needs of its neighborhood in particular and of Karimnagar district as a whole. The three criteria that inform all the Programs are that PIMS reach out to : the poorest, the most vulnerable and as large sections of the community as possible.
