P.hd in Civil Engineering

Department of Civil Engineering has been in existence since 2007 in this institute (Babu Banarasi Das National Institute of Technology & Management). Since then fifth semester of B.Tech. Civil Engineering is going to start this academic year. The department offers B.Tech. (UG programme) in Civil Engineering affiliated to U.P. Technical University. The sanctioned strength of student in the department is 90. Presently the department has Fluid Mechanics, Fluid Machinery, Survey, Material Testing and Civil Engineering Drawing Labs appropriately equipped with instruments and apparatus other Labs e.g. Structural Analysis Lab. Concrete Lab and Transportation Engineering Lab are going to be established by the end of June, 2009. The department is organizing seminars, site visit and short duration training programmes for the students. Department has fully equipped Library of Internal Journals, Technical papers and reference books on the subject.
