The department of Information Science & Engineering was established in the year 1987. The department has a 4 year full time undergraduate BE program with an annual intake of 90 students and accredited by NBA for a period of 3 years from 2004. The course combines theoretical and practical learning with a perfect blend of managerial skills. With a good team of young teachers who have apt knowledge, the department has produced maximum ranks at the university level. Currently, the research efforts of the faculty are in the areas of multimedia communications & networks, Image processing, neural networks and data mining. The vision is to build the department as a center of excellence in Engineering Education by inculcating in every student the art of creativity and productivity in the field of information Technology.
