Personal Safety & Social Responsibility

This program has been sanctioned by the Director General of Shipping, Ministry of Surface Transport, Govt. of India.

Program Outline:
The course covers personal safety on board, to advise seafarers on emergency procedures on board, the philosophy of safety and safe work practices, communication on board, accident prevention on board, and precautions to prevent pollution of the marine environment, responses to emergencies, human relationships and social responsibilities.

Requirement: Compulsory for all mariners serving on board sea-going vessels
