Course Overview:-
Globally, Public Health has emerged as a convergent domain for all disciplines in social and health sciences, today. The public health challenges being faced by the India call for the development of capacity in the health systems of the Central and State Governments by way of positioning qualified public health professionals who can execute and monitor national health policies and programmes, supervise the public health workforce, fully assess the dimensions of public health issues and devise appropriate strategies to meet emerging challenges.

Graduates and Postgraduates from various disciplines in the medical field including Doctors, Dentists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, B.Sc (Biotechnology) are encouraged to work together as a public health team for their communities and are contributing their expertise in this exciting and challenging task.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

- To enhance the capacity of public health managerial workforce through conducting a
specially designed PG Diploma course.
- By doing this course the chances of getting government jobs increase manifolds
- There are approximately 100 public health programs run by Govt. of India, INGO’s, NPO’s
etc.
- All these programs need project heads & project coordinators.
