A full pledged oral pathology laboratory processes biopsy and cytology specimens rendering histopathologic diagnoses to the clinicians. This department trains the students in the different oral and dental diseases on their diagnosis, prognosis & management. The department houses research microscope with phase contrast, flouresent, dark field steriozoom facility. A museum housing hard and soft tissue specimens is also present along with a departmental book library. The DA&DH department coaches the students with the basic subjects of dentistry, dental anatomy & dental histology that give insight into the structure, health & functioning of dental, oral & related structures. Highly qualified faculties train the students in authenticating clinical diagnosis. This department is offering its Post Graduate Course in Oral Pathology from the academic year 2009-10.
