Course programme
The PGDM course is meant to train the students to become professionals for the development of both the rural areas as well as urban areas. While the students will have the opportunity to specialize in the area of their personal interest, by opting for one or two areas of specialization, the course itself will have a specific focus on sustainable development. Thus, this course, while enabling the students to specialize in one or two areas of their choice, will also enable the students to have a critical understanding of the causes of under-development or over-development, the possible ways and means to overcome the existing state of affairs and move forward, the various skills that are required on the part of the victims of under-development or over-development to emancipate themselves from these clutches, the various laws and provisions of the Government to assist these people, etc.
At the end of the course, every student will have specialized in one or two areas of his/her option and will also have developed a balanced perspective regarding sustainable development, which is absolutely essential for a balanced growth of the country and the world at large.
