Ph.D. Ayurveda: Swasthavritta and Yoga

Swasthavritta is the branch of Ayurveda which deals with prevention of diseases through healthy life style and use of Rasayana. This department was an integral section of department of Basic Principles since 1979 and got independent status in the faculty of Ayurveda in the November 2006. The purview of this department includes the activities like community health, surveys, health camps in the village areas, health promotion and prevention of the diseases, along with the U.G and P.G teaching and research activities in the field.
