Ph.D. in Chemistry

The University of Delhi offers Ph.D. in Chemistry course to its students.
It is offered by the Department of Chemistry and under the Faculty of SCIENCE.

At least two calendar years from the date of registration. Moreover, no student shall be permitted to be on the Ph. D. rolls for a period exceeding five years, provided, however, the Vice-Chancellor may, on the individual merits of each case, and, on the recommendations of the Board of Research Studies concerned, grant extension of time for submission of thesis to the extent he may deem necessary.

The department has many sophisticated instrumentation facilities:
HPLC, Ultracentrifuge, 300 MHz FTNMR spectrometer, FTIR spectrometer, Dynamic Light scattering system, Cyclic Voltammeter, CD spectrometer, Stop-Flow spectrophotometer, Corrosion measurement instrument and advanced Computers.
