Ph.D. in Library & Information Science

The University of Delhi offers Ph.D. in Library & Information Science course to its students.

It is offered by the Department of Library & Information Science and under the Faculty of ARTS.

The course shall be divided into two semesters and there shall
be an examination at the end of each semester as given below:

I. Research Methods
II. Library Planning and
Management
III. Any one of the following options:
(a) University and College Library System
(b) Research and Technical Library System
(c) Public Library System
(d) Information Processing and Organisation
(e) Information Transfer and Dissemination
(f) Comparative Librarianship
(g) Education for Library and Information Science
