Ph.D in Life and Health Sciences

The course has a dedicated and hard working staff well qualified as per university norms. The staff are encouraged to pursue higher studies and in turn keep themselves updated in their respective fields.
The course imparts basic as well as applied knowledge in various fields like Genetics, Evolution, Systematics, Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Animal cell culture and stem cell technology. In addition to normal class work the students are given hands-on training in advanced fields through Project works, field works, visits to research institutes and industries. Admission into both M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs is based on the merit obtained in the entrance examination.
