The Mother Teresa Women’s University, established in 1984 is primarily situated in the sylvan grandeur of the Kodai Hills. The University has Research and Extension Centres also at Madurai and Chennai Music, a divine performing Art, exists in ever soul. Mother Teresa Women’s University pioneered to offer M.A., and M.Phil., in Music through the mode of distance Education in 1999. Since 2003., B.A., and Certificate course is also offered through the mode of Distance Education. Music is imbibed through “Kelvi Gnanam” or knowledge gathered from listening.
