Ph.D. Programme in public enterprise

The Institute of Public Enterprise offers Ph.D. Programme in public enterprise course to its students. The course structure for it is as follows:

Structure of the Programme
The programme will have the following components:

* Mandatory course
* Comprehensive examination
* Formulation of thesis proposal for doctoral level research
* Publication requirements
* Registration, pre-Ph.D examination and seminars
* Thesis submission
* Thesis evaluation process
* Research / teaching assistantship

Mandatory Course
These courses are aimed at providing basic knowledge and skills to the scholars for a research role and in-depth exposure to the contemporary themes of development in their knowledge-domain and related areas of interest. The scholars can also take a course of independent study on any topic of their research interest. The course of independent study would be aimed at developing sound research propositions on chosen issues or problems of management and testing them through pilot research.
