      The University of Delhi offers Ph.D. in Psychology course to its students.

      It is offered by the Department of Psychology and under the Faculty of ARTS.

      The department offers the facility of counseling and psychotherapy for the benefit of students, teachers and other university employees. Counseling center is being looked after by the teachers specializing in clinical psychology and the supporting staff. The counseling services can be utilized by the university students, university employees and their families.

      Faculty from the Department is actively involved in providing training and other services to various organizations. Consultancy work in Human Resource Development, Human Resource Management and the like is undertaken by the Faculty in the Department. The Department also has expertise in dealing with problems such as depression, anxiety, stress management, psychological problems associated with brain injury (head injury, stroke, brain tumors, etc.), ageing, drug abuse, community mental health, disability, etc.
