The college offer number of Post Graduation Courses, one of the course is Phd in Microbiology.
The dynamic subject of Clinical Microbiology keeps the Department actively involved in upgrading facilities so as to keep at par with advances. The Mission Statement of this department :

The department will always strive to achieve pre-eminence in the discipline of clinical microbiology through excellence in training, clinical support and intellectually stimulating research".
The college is authorized to conduct post graduate courses vide. GOI MOD letter no. 8510/ DGAFMS/ DG-1D/ 2273/ 2001/ D Med dated 05 Nov 01, as amended vide GOI MOD letter no. 8510/ DGAFMS/ DG-1D/ 2556/ D Med dated 02 Sep 04 and GOI MOD letter no. 8510/ DGAFMS/ DG-1D/ 3018/ D Med dated 15 Oct 04.

The vacancies for the above course is available to service officers only. However, any unutilized vacancy is available to civilians. The selection for filling these vacancies is based on an entrance examination.
