Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics and Therapeutic Nutrition (PGDDTN)

To prepare graduate nurses to take the challenging role to respond to the changing health needs of the society. Also to promotes clinical competence, teaching, administrative and research skills in working nurses. We aim to train students as clinical Dietians who have been enrolled in Post Graduate diploma in Dietetics and Therapeutics Nutrition Programmes.

Diet plays an important role in the management of disease. This programme provides opportunities to acquire knowledge on nutritional needs of sick as well as normal persons. The programme also provides comprehensive knowledge on principles and planning of therapeutic diet, which a dietician needs in clinical area.

There are five courses which have theory and practical:

q Community Nutrition

q Institutional Management in Dietetics

q Basic of Computer Sciences
