Post Graduate Diploma in Embedded Wireless & Mobile Applications

Program objective

The main objective of this program is to mould electronics engineers & to re-train the professional engineers into High Caliber Embedded Wireless Communication System Designers through enhancing their knowledge & skills in other hardware & software designing features of Embedded Systems, Wireless & Mobile Communications. This program gives a wide topic range of the instant importance into the industry & will make the candidates appropriate for today's industry occupied in development of Embedded and Wireless System & applications. This program is a dynamic preparation for those candidates who wanted to get engaged in the application research in today's developing area.

Program outcome

Students will get an exposure of different Wireless & Mobile Communication Technologies.

Students will also get the expertise essential in designing and developing different wireless applications with the use of Java & J2ME.

Students will become familiar with the use of various Wireless & Mobile communication Modules pr kits like WiFi (WLAN), GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth, Zig-bee, GPS etc.

Students will get the exposure on Embedded - Wireless application.

Students will become familiar with the use of various Wireless Simulator.

Student will also get the expertise in multiple programming languages like C, C++ & Java.

Practical experience in Operating system (Linux) internal.



Requirement:

* M.E./M.Tech or B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics/Instrumentation/ Biomedical /Computer Science/Information technology or M.Sc. in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science/Information technology.



This program has seven modules. Upon completion of the 1st seven modules, participants will have to do a 4 weeks project with the usage of any topic included in the studies of Post graduate diploma certificate
